Alumni Association Board Retreat a Success

On Saturday, September 30 our Alumni Association Board gathered in-person and virtually at Parker for the annual board retreat. The retreat kicked off with a welcome from Board President Mikus Kins ’91 who introduced guest speakers Principal Dan Frank ’74, Board of Trustees Co-Chair Jenny Friedes and Parker’s new Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Erika Prahl.

 

The rest of the afternoon was spent with the board breaking off into their different committees, which include Alumni Giving; Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging; Events and Marketing; Governance/Membership/Recruitment; and Mentorship. During this time the board looked back at the work done the previous year, set goals and metrics for the year to come and had open discussions about the work they want to accomplish.
