Chess Places First in Post-Season Tournament

We are very excited to share about the tremendous work our Chess team has engaged in this season. This was their second season in the Chicago Chess Conference, and they went 9-1 in regular season play, only losing one match to conference rivals St. Ignatius!
They had a rematch this past Saturday at the Chicago Chess Conference Post-Season Tournament, beating them in the final round by a score of 47-21. This Saturday they’ll be going to sectionals to compete for a spot at states.
Join us in congratulating Chess on a terrific season so far and wishing them luck this weekend!
