Parker Employees Earn CASE Achievements

Parker employees received recognition for their excellence and professional acumen at the recent CASE-NAIS conference in Washington, D.C.

John G. Levi Chief Development Officer Brent Caburnay, Major Gifts Officer James Pomeroy and Assistant Principal Priyanka Rupani were among the presenters at CASE NAIS 2025. This annual global advancement and development conference for schools is a must-attend event for independent schools and advancement professionals to network, sharpen their skills and find inspiration to thrive in their careers.

At the conference, Caburnay led a session entitled, “What Your New CAOs Need to Thrive,” while Rupani and Pomeroy presented a session called, “Advancement and Academic Leadership in Partnership: A Case Study in Civics.” Caburnay was also selected to join the faculty for the CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) School Advancement Institute, which provides those new to independent school advancement with mentoring and support to be successful in their initial years at a new school.

In recognition for all that he has accomplished in his field and for the school, Caburnay received the CASE District V Chief Executive Leadership Award, which is presented annually to nominees who have demonstrated the ability to:
  • Articulate a compelling vision for the institution and to have inspired others to that vision
  • Establish a positive image for the institution while leading it to higher levels of success
  • Increase the institution’s stature in the community
  • Encourage innovation and risk-taking among employees
  • Actively support all aspects of institutional advancement
Caburnay and other winners will be recognized for their achievements at the CASE District V Conference in Chicago on Tuesday, April 1.

Congratulations to Caburnay, Pomeroy and Rupani on these recent achievements. Parker looks forward to more great things from these school leaders in the future.
