Student-Athlete of the Week
It's that time of year! This Friday is the Clark Street Classic Blue Out Games against Latin at UIC Credit Union 1 Arena. The girls game starts at 6 p.m. with the boys playing at 8 p.m. Make sure to support your Colonel teams by wearing blue! Parker’s boys will go for a season sweep against Latin after their victory in the White Out, and the girls will face off against the Romans for the first time this season.
Our SAC Student-Athlete of the Week is Chess team member Ari Deutsch! Ari, a junior, went 3-0 in his matches on Saturday at the Chicago Chess Conference Postseason Tournament, which Parker won. The eight-team single elimination tournament featured wins against De La Salle and St. Rita before a demolition of defending champs St. Ignatius by a score of 47-21 to take home the trophy. Make sure to congratulate the team before they play in IHSA Sectionals this Saturday.
