Dr. Otis Pope recently took two sections of Upper School students from his Modern World History class to the Haitian American Museum of Chicago to add dimensions to the classroom content.
While at the museum, students viewed the Haitian art, culture and history on display and shared by docents; enjoyed a traditional Haitian meal; and participated in a live drum performance.
Francis W. Parker School educates students to think and act with empathy, courage and clarity as responsible citizens and leaders in a diverse democratic society and global community.
