Families from the class of 2028 painted a range of festive scenes on windows throughout campus to welcome the winter holidays and brighten up the school.
Each year, on the Monday following Thanksgiving Recess, 9th grade families combine efforts to make the hallways brighter as part of the annual Holiday Window Painting.
The sounds of student vocalists from the Pop Vocal Ensemble kicked off the festivities with traditional songs in the Front Alcove and later the cafeteria, as parent/guardian volunteers doled out countless cups of paint and brushes to the eager artists working on two floors.
Some students worked solo while others took turns with their parents/guardians and siblings as they transformed ordinary glass into extraordinary decorations for the benefit of all who walk Parker’s halls between now and December Recess.
Parker thanks these families for bringing holiday cheer to the school’s windows this year.
