The Upper School Architecture and Photography classes took an exciting field trip to downtown Chicago, immersing themselves in the city.
Architecture students began the day with a walking tour of Chicago’s iconic architecture, discussing the significance of various styles and innovations. The Photography classes visited the Museum of Contemporary Photography, where they listened to a lecture on featured artist Dawit L. Petros. Equipped with cameras, the students then set out to capture the vibrant urban landscape, taking photos of the city's unique angles, street scenes and architectural details, blending their newfound knowledge of design and photography in the heart of Chicago.
All students ended the day with a greater appreciation for the city.
