Fourth Grade Shares Learning with SK

Students from every grade are hard at work this week preparing for Parker’s annual County Fair! Whether building obstacles for a course or painting signs for their booths, students are finalizing their part of this all-community event.

In addition to their work creating and running a Board Game room in the Small Café, the 4th graders are taking the theme of “Tropical” and exploring Bob Marley’s music and activism. During the County Fair MX, they sang “Three Little Birds,” accompanied by a picture book adapted by Cedella Marley, one of Bob Marley’s daughters. To prepare SK students for this MX and get them excited about County Fair, the 4th graders decided to visit SK classes to share this book and song.

Their voices were a great way to get some of the school’s youngest students even more excited for County Fair!
