League of Women Voters Conducts Registration Drive
Representatives from the League of Women Voters of Chicago recently visited campus to register eligible students for the upcoming election season.
Jeanne Turner from the League filled a long-term sub position in Parker’s History Department last year. Through the relationships she formed since then, Turner connected with Upper School student leaders in the Parker Democrats club to get as many juniors and seniors registered for the primary and general election as possible.
The women in charge of the event had an amazing experience, and plans are already underway to make this an annual Parker tradition.
