The Upper School Environmental Committee organized a service-learning trip to the Wild Mile of the Urban Rivers Organization.
Students participated in a trash pickup as well as a seed dispersal activity that involved a catapult! Sophomore Fiona Chazen said, “This was a great way to celebrate Earth Day!” Students were encouraged to come back with their families to enjoy the floating gardens as the weather warms up.
The Environmental Committee has more events planned next week.
