Senior Varsity Basketball Captain Miles Johnson had a tremendous achievement this season when he surpassed the 1,000-point Career Scoring mark!
Head Coach Jarrick McGee shared some highlights of Johnson’s season:
He had eight 20+-point-scoring games this season to lead the team.
He scored 30 points against Latin at DePaul and 24 points against Latin at UIC.
He scored 33 points against Beacon this season.
He led the team in total scoring this season, averaging 15.8 points per game.
Coach McGee shared, “Scoring 1,000 points in high school basketball is a significant achievement that demonstrates a player’s skills, dedication to team and consistency. It’s a rare accomplishment to score 1,000 points in HS throughout the four years. It’s a coveted milestone that places a player in the history of a school’s sport. When athletes achieve these milestones, it symbolizes a player’s consistency and hard work during the period of time.”
