Athlete of the Week

Parker spring sports have kicked off this week with our Winter activities coming to a close this week. Our varsity robotics team competed at the State Championship in Elgin this weekend, winning the Design Award and finishing in the top 10 in competition.

Our Chess team competed in the Chicago Chess Conference blitz tournament on Tuesday as well, with freshman Isaiah Jakobe finishing 1st and won the CCC Individual Tournament.

This week’s SAC Student-Athlete of the Week is Geometry teacher and statistician extraordinaire Victoria Lee. Ms. Lee has been keeping statistics at Boys basketball games for over five years and is currently expanding our sports statistician program. She has continuously made great contributions and brought incredible energy to our teams and helped our coaching staff make important decisions with her stats.

We are still looking for more statisticians for our spring sports! Specifically, baseball, soccer, and softball are looking for student statisticians. Reach out to Ms. Lee if you are interested and see her email about the topic for more information.
