Coach and Assistant Teacher Wins Local Heroes Giveaway!

Head Coach and 1st grade Assistant Teacher Diego Quebrado Salgado is a Chicago Fire Hero! Chicago Fire FC recently held a contest asking members of their community to nominate someone they consider a “local Chicago Hero,” and Quebrado Salgado was one of two winners!

Members of the Chicago Fire FC staff and mascot Sparky surprised Quebrado Salgado with this news and a special message from current players thanking him for his work as a teacher and a coach. In addition to feeling honored that a fellow community member selected him for this prize, Quebrado Salgado received tickets to the game against Inter Miami and a custom Fire kit.
