Introducing the Newest Member of the Colonel Crew!

Colonel Parker had another member join him in the Colonel Crew this week, as Athletics Director Bobby Starks revealed a big surprise for our students to kick off Homecoming Spirit Week.

Starks and the Student Athletic Council (SAC) began Monday’s Morning Ex with some highlights from the current athletics season before giving a brief history of the current Colonel Parker mascot. Then, after an exciting video to get the crowd excited, the packed Heller Auditorium enthusiastically welcomed the newest member of the Colonel Crew: the Eagle! After much deliberation by Starks and the SAC, Parker decided to invite the Eagle to the Colonel Crew to ensure that every student at Parker, from our youngest JKer to our oldest senior, can connect with a mascot and enjoy joining them in cheering on our student athletes as they compete.
