Parker’s Robot Is a TV Star!

A special TV event made a star out of a robot created by the Upper School Robotics team.

When the producers of the TV shows Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago PD reached out to the team via social media, asking if they had a robot they could lend out as a prop for an upcoming three-part crossover event, the team couldn’t say no!

After sharing some photos of available robots, producers from the show selected the robot that the current seniors built when they were freshmen. Parker’s robot is on the screen 43 minutes into S10 Ep11 of Chicago Med titled “In the Trenches: Part II,” which aired Wednesday, January 29.
