Parker hosted a second Signing Day Ceremony for senior student-athletes Sam Forst and Josh Ijiwola this past week, who signed agreements to continue their athletic careers in college.
The community gathered to celebrate this dynamic duo as Forst makes plans to attend Chapman University for track and field while Ijiwola will go to Grinnell College for soccer. Principal Dan Frank and Director of Athletics Bobby Starks welcomed the audience before teachers Mike Mahany and Andy Bigelow joined coach Mike Clark-Arroniz via Zoom to speak on Forst’s behalf, while Upper School Director of Studies Sven Carlsson and Coach Neil Curran shared more about Ijiwola’s contributions as a student, athlete and human being. Each of these student-athletes then spoke to the Parker community.
Join Parker in congratulating these impressive student-athletes and wishing them well as they begin the next stage of their educational and athletic endeavors.
