Welcome to Admission at Parker!

Dear Families,

Welcome to Francis W. Parker School! We know you have many choices for your child’s education, and I’m so glad you’re considering Parker.

For more than a century, we’ve been guided by a simple, yet powerful, idea: that school should be a “Model Home.” This means creating a community where students feel known, supported and challenged to think not just critically, but creatively. It’s an education that is about more than just subjects; it's about the whole student.

Our students—from four-year-olds to high school seniors—come from 63 different zip codes and backgrounds across Chicagoland. They bring their unique perspectives to our vibrant, six-acre campus, creating a rich tapestry of experiences. With a low 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio, our educators can truly connect with each child, helping them develop the curiosity and confidence to make a difference in the world.

Parker’s progressive approach is rooted in civic engagement and social justice. We believe education should prepare students not just for college, but for a life of purpose. Our light-filled classrooms and modern facilities are the backdrop for a curriculum that fosters a deep connection to the world and empowers students to become thoughtful, engaged citizens.

I’m excited to share the Parker experience with you and your family. I encourage you to explore our campus and attend an event to see what makes our community so special. My team and I are here to support you at every turn, so please reach out to us at admission@fwparker.org or 773.797.5107 with any questions.

We look forward to getting to know you.
