Dear Families,
Welcome to Francis W. Parker School! We know you have many choices for your child’s education, and I’m so glad you’re considering Parker.
For more than a century, we’ve been guided by a simple, yet powerful, idea: that school should be a “
Model Home.” This means creating a community where students feel known, supported and challenged to think not just critically, but creatively. It’s an education that is about more than just subjects; it's about the whole student.
Our students—from four-year-olds to high school seniors—come from 63 different zip codes and backgrounds across Chicagoland. They bring their unique perspectives to our vibrant, six-acre campus, creating a rich tapestry of experiences. With a low 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio, our educators can truly connect with each child, helping them develop the curiosity and confidence to make a difference in the world.
Parker’s progressive approach is rooted in
civic engagement and social justice. We believe education should prepare students not just for
college, but for a life of purpose. Our light-filled classrooms and modern facilities are the backdrop for a curriculum that fosters a deep connection to the world and empowers students to become thoughtful, engaged citizens.
I’m excited to share the Parker experience with you and your family. I encourage you to explore our campus and attend an event to see what makes our community so special. My team and I are here to support you at every turn, so please reach out to us at
admission@fwparker.org or
773.797.5107 with any questions.
We look forward to getting to know you.
Warm regards,
Jessy A. Trejo
